hmm. just finished watching anastasia thou im not supposed to be watching tv. i mean ive hardly done any work. or finished my work. or whatever. just that i think im slacking so much, compared to others. my brain's wasting away. but that's besides the point
hmm yup... i totally love disney. haha watched anastasia for like the tenth million time! haha... nah just ard ten or a little less. i must watch more. haha.. first time i watched was at class... in ny... think it was theater and gender or maybe it was just... theater. or sth. one of those enrichment classes i used to think was crap. but now looking back, think those classes were really the ones that allowed me to have a mind of my own. but maybe that's not good cuz it's not wat the world wants me to be. i've got to be a yes-woman all my life huh. anyhows.. yea i cant believe i never watched the show in the cinema... one day i'll go buy my own cinema and play it... ahaha it's never the same u know, watching sth on vcd and sth in the cinema.
well yea... the story's like super sweet and it's a cartoon-musical. and it's not one of those dumb predictable cartoons that make the characters seem like 2d things. i mean yea. i love cartoons but selected ones la. i cant stand cartoons which have really horrible animation or drawings, which are supposed to be "fresh, new" whatever. im sticking to traditional hand-drawn or hand-drawn look alike. this is like a cartoon-musical that appeals to this era. not like pinocchio or sth. hmm i really cant think of any other good cartoon-musicals. hmm... i love beautifully drawn stuff hahaha... bold, defined lines and beautiful colour. haha.. like what do i know abt art la. but it's so beautiful la... the way cartoons are... they're nothing like real life, full of imperfections. and the story never fails to make me smile cuz it's so beautiful in itself... the dog pooka, dimitri, and anastasia and vladimir, so nice! it's just really cute and all. and the voicing is damn good. i love meg ryan. john cusack also did a damn good job voicing dimitri. meg ryan acted in this other show abt a vineyard in france or sth... and she meets this thief who she falls in love with. but she's this really witty and funny girl damn cute. haha. but anastasia beats all. ive loved it since i watched it... totally went crazy with it dlded clips and all etc etc. haha ok a computer idiot doesnt know how to take care of her computer here. but well yea. the songs are super nice... love journey to the past, at the beginning and once upon a december, but honestly who doesnt? haha.. but it's different hearing them on the movie. haha... it's like to be so involved in a show or sth... cuz it's like all logic is removed frm u... u're like living the perfect life. hah. crap. cant wait to get my ipod i'll be happily flying frm spore to korea listening to all these songs which the world will prob say "what the... u're listening to these kinda 'musical' ish songs? songs frm a cartoon? aiyoooo" haha. whee. im a soundtrack addict. almost all the albums i own are soundtracks. cuz when u listen to a song u get an image put in ur head.
like once upon a december.. u imagine urself waltzing to it... or in this beautiful empty ballroom with elaborate paintings on the walls, alone, twirling ard, singing. or maybe just watching stars at night or clouds in the day. nice right? it's like innocence lost frm an urban world here. where everything's angular, everything's black and white, everything's got a motive, there's no one who'll be true to u, friends family whoever. pple will always lie to u, pple will always let u down, pple will always break promises, pple will always do things to make u start shrinking away, bit by bit, from this world u hate so much. then u start wondering why u're here to begin with.
music is my life. haha.. kinda dumb innit. hah. i like so many songs it's hard to define which genre i really go for. haha. thou alternarock been rocksteady in my music world. haha. wish i were musically inclined.
listening to once upon a december now. finally i managed to get the anastasia version, not the deana carter version, which is kinda stylised to become kinda rnb. journey to the past also became an rnb song with aaliyah on vocals. eek. from such a pure story like that? naaaaaahhhhhh. not nice. prefer the musical-ish version. the one that really puts those images in ur head. haha remember the teacher telling us that during the scene in the movie when they play once upon a december, that anya/anastasia was the only one with a reflection in the floor, the only one with a shadow... all the other ghostly ballroom dancers ard her were without a shadow... whoa they really pay attention to such details... so cool huh. i love the sparkles they use on disney shows... the magical ones and the sparkliness of the gowns and dresses. so nice. all the clothes tt have sparkles now are sparkleless. bleh. haha okay that sounded super bimbo.
today was in sch for open day. wore the ny uni there... haha pe shirt(OF COURSE) n the skirt, which i altered. damn last time i really did wear my skirt like super long, like supernaturally long. damn. haha... well now it looks.. normal. but yea... like the shirt... it was like centuries old frm the back of my cupboard... and it had yellow stains on it! and pink! damn. haha... pple thought i ate sth pink and yellow. haha... but yea. damn la think last time wash with other clothes then lidat. and the bloody moth balls. damn i still smell moth ballish.
haha went in with mich chiang who was stuck doing a levels tys waiting for me. my parents pmsed and when i hurried them cuz it was like already ten and i was supposed to meet her at ten, they said i was wat selfcentered etc. im just trying not to be late. n if they didnt want to bring me to sch they cud have told me, i can always go on my own. just that i'll wake up earlier and i wasnt even told! argh they never really listen. but by like ten, if i went on my own it'll take forever. and i'll get murdered. haha. well whatever la. pms pms.
anyhows ya the open house was okay... think ours had a more personal touch. and what's with tele companies sponsoring open houses??? vj and nj had the open house on the same day. and vj had a singtel bag, and nj had an m1 bag. what the hell. haha. but at least vj's bag had a vj design on it.. on the m1 bag.. it's like they robbed handphone shops of bags or sth.
bleaghz. but yea... the open house was crowded with plenty of pple who didnt look like sec4s. honestly. they looked ard j1, mostly. and some j2-ish, and some j3-ish. even j4s were there. hardly any sec4 lookalikes. haha... maybe me and chiang! haha... so interesting.. i got a helluva kick(cheapthrill) frm seeing the looks on pple's faces... when they saw us in our ny uni... haha. esp those pple who dint know us personally but u know u see pple ard in nj sometimes and remember their faces... then they kept looking at us with like weird looks and later on like smiled like it was sth funny. so we were great big jokes. but it was fun! haha. and esp when i signed up for western dance. haha and put dance experience as nj western dance with a nice smiley. haha... mich also signed up! so how? joining not? on nxt year! haha... well yea. i wanted to go ard signing up for ccas, i mean the canoeists approached me to join! hahahhaa...but i just walked away frm the person... and went,"like real la canoeing!" haha... dunno if he heard me. haha. not a pretty thought, getting bashed up by a canoeist... nj canoeist at that. they just have to sit on me and i'll be prata.
and kelly wont be the only flat one.wahahahaha. oops.
but it'll be so cool to sign up then maybe they'll really call me la... then i'll be like wah how ar how to go frm j3 to j1!!!! haha. whee i like playing pranks. but yea... took some pixes... haha so cool pple in sch uni. haha... i like how i look in the ny uni! white is soooo my colour. haha... well yea i preferred it to the nj uni DUH. in fact think it's nicer than the ac uni! haha i feel so nice and tall with my skirt swishing ard my knees like that, esp when dancing the mass dance!
so sad... last time we're dancing the mass dance! who's up for dancing mass dance at the prom?? haha.. ok la so it's nice to take pictures! haha... well yea glad i brought my camera... took pixes with ronald mcdonald type of pple, pple in secsch uni, bimbo pics, act cute pics, pic of the jungle at the atrium, and just.,... dumb pics. haha. yay prom, watchout! i must take pix with like every single person. haha... then must empty the camera. so tt i have like millions of pixes for prom. maybe i'll need a backup cam.
hmm oh im gonna go south korea after As! frm 12-18! haha yayyy so happy. cuz it's gonna be such an experience... esp with all that skiing snowboarding thing and cultural exchange, like i'll get to know so many pple! like yea it's always interesting to learn more abt someone u've never met. and esp someone frm a different culture! but best thing is still skiing snowboarding. haha only drawback is i get the feeling im gonna be superduper out at the thing... like i dunno any of the other girls well and all that, and everyone seems to have someone close to them going and stuff. but argh. stupid clare. but oh wells... im there for the experience. prep for going overseas! so dumb to not know anything when all ur frens have lived in temperate countries before right!
just hope i still get to go to aussie aft this. like in june/july. i really love aussie. both times i went i loved it. im sure i'll love it as much now as i did back then. haha. and shopping for winter clothes and shopping in melbourne! haha... so nice... melbourne's like got so many cool stuff like i think victoria market or sth... can get really pretty accessories and stuff.. those kinda stuff i like... those... victorian stuff? i dunno... those elaborate elaborate stuff. but im trying out the funky type of stuff now but it's just a phase. still into the more.. peasant or country look. haha. well yea. and winter clothes! i wanna get nice ones tt dunt make me look like humchimpeng! haha... yay... wanna get once of those faux fur lined thick shawls that's really elegant looking and kinda big but still suitable that u wear outside a gown in a cold country before going into the ballroom or whatever. so nice. saw it on anastasia. but it beats a damn taitai shawl. if u look young u can carry off the thick shawl thing. just not too big... or u'll look like... humchimpeng. hahaa
well off to try and do chem tys now. later!
